Affiliate program terms

These terms govern participation in the Firstguard Payments affiliate programme ("the programme"). By joining you accept these terms.

1. Programme description

Affiliates earn a recurring commission based on the monthly transaction volume processed by merchants they referred to Firstguard.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and comply with the laws of their jurisdiction. Promoting the programme in connection with illegal activities is prohibited.

3. Referral tracking

A referral is valid when the merchant registers through the affiliate's personal link, completes verification and processes real transactions.

4. Commission structure

Commission is a share of Firstguard fees: 10% up to €100,000 monthly volume, 12.5% up to €500,000, 15% up to €1,000,000 and 20% above. When a higher tier is reached, it applies to the whole month.

5. Payment terms

Commissions are calculated monthly and paid out once the balance reaches €100.

6. Prohibited activities

Misrepresentation, spam, fake accounts, self-referrals and artificially generated volume lead to exclusion and forfeiture of commissions.

7. Compliance

Referred merchants must pass our KYC/KYB and anti-money-laundering checks. Rejected merchants do not generate commission.

8. Marketing guidelines

Only approved marketing materials may be used. Affiliates may not make guarantees on our behalf.

9. Intellectual property

Affiliates receive a limited, revocable licence to use our name and logo for the purpose of the programme.

10. Fraud and abuse

Commission on fraudulent, refunded or reversed transactions is reversed.

11. Term and termination

Either party may end participation with 14 days' notice; we may terminate immediately in case of breach.

12. Liability

We exclude liability for indirect damages and lost profits to the extent permitted by law.

13. Independent contractor

Affiliates act independently and cannot legally bind Firstguard Payments.

14. Taxes

Affiliates are responsible for their own tax obligations.

15. Modifications

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, the country in which Firstguard Limited has its registered seat. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
